Welcome to 24-25 School year. Our theme this year is FIRE: Fostering Innovation, Resilience, and Excellence.
Fostering Innovation means encouraging creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving. It’s about providing opportunities for our students to explore, experiment, and think outside the box.
Resilience is a crucial life skill. At Montrose, it involves teaching our students how to bounce back from setbacks, cope with challenges, and adapt to change which gives them the “heart” to try new things and get out of their comfort zone. And excellence doesn’t mean perfection; it means giving our best effort.
Excellence extends beyond grades—it’s about being good citizens and compassionate classmates who care about each other. And lastly, personal excellence recognizes each child’s unique abilities and helps them reach their full potential.
The Mustang FIRE fuels a passion for learning, builds resilience, and inspires students to reach for the moon, because even if they fail, they will land among the stars.
Our goal is for Montrose be the best place for students to learn and grow. FIRE reminds us all of our commitment to ensure that every student’s potential burns brightly!
