I am so excited to welcome each of you to the 2023-2024 school year! I am honored to be the principal of Montrose Elementary School.
During the 2022-2023 school year we
Increased student achievement and met all state and federal benchmarks!
Established morning clubs to expose students to board games, yoga, comic books, and other areas.
Held pop up shops where students could ‘shop’ for someone in their lives.
Focused on behavior and building relationships with students through our positive behavior programs
Welcomed families and the community back in our buildings with a variety of activities and events.
And if you thought we leveled up in 22-23, wait until we unveil what 23-24 year holds! We are excited to have Communities in Schools in our building and we look forward to introducing new staff members to you. Our focus is still increasing academic achievement with a focus on literacy. We are committed to providing your child with a safe, supportive, and challenging learning environment.
We encourage you to get involved in our school community. We have many opportunities for families to volunteer, participate in events, and learn more about our school.
