“Our Families are our Shining Stars”

Hello parents,

My name is Diane Cotman and I am your Family Advocate at Montrose Elementary School.  I am excited abut being the connection between home, school, and the community.

In addition to being your advocate, I am looking forward to collaborating with all of my Montrose families.  My goal is to build a social network between families, school, and the community.  I also would like to enhance families’ leadership and advocacy skills through strong participation in workshops, volunteering, and attending school related events.

I am here to encourage, support, and advocate for parents, children, school, and community.  I want you, the parent, involved with your child’s education and I know that together we can make a difference.

I am looking forward to meeting you and thanks again for letting me partner with you in your child’s education.

                                                                                                                                   Thank you,

                                                                                                                                    Diane Cotman

                                                                                                                                    Family Advocate

Does your child need assistance with multiplication? Montrose teachers have taught 4 different ways that the students can use to solve a multiplication problem.  Check out the videos that explain each one and have your child choose the one that they are most comfortable with.
